What you need to know before renting a car
- Driver needs an international driver’s license valid for at least one year.
- Minimum age of the driver has to be 25 years to maximum 65 years.
- A deposit of € 300 is mandatory.
- Additional charge of Euro 5 per day is applicable for an additional driver.
- By car pick up two identity documents have to be shown. A valid (international) driver’s license and a passport or identity card.
- Cars are checked out with a full tank of gas. They should be returned with a full tank of gas. Otherwise a refueling charge will be applied.
- Fuel costs during rental period are for customer.
- Unlimited kilometers.
- Cars are checked out clean. If at check in cars are dirty that they require an extra body wash, engine wash or extra interior cleaning this will be charged to customer.
- Customer will pay all fines, costs and recovery expenses for parking, traffic and other violations. Except those fines related to failure of RRC to abide by state imposed regulations and rules for vehicles.
- Ross Rental cars accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express or cash.
- Ross Rental Cars reserves the right to refuse rental services to anyone.

Rental agreement terms & conditions
These terms and conditions, the Rental agreement and the car condition checklist signed by the customer together constitute the agreement for the rental of the vehicle described on the rental agreement. The customer agrees to the terms and conditions stated below and in the rental agreement
The agreement is between the customer and Ross Rental Cars (RRC). Ross Rental Cars is a division of the Suriname Contracting Group N.V.
Rental period
The rental period is defined as the period that RRC agrees to make available one or more vehicles to customer. Car must be returned completely clean on the date and time indicated on rental agreement with all tires, tools, car papers, accessories and other equipment to the location as specified on rental agreement or must be returned sooner if demanded by RRC.
The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as customer received it.If customer desires to extend the rental period, customer shall request extension at least 24 hours before expiration of rental period. RRC reserves the right not to grant such an extension. If customer is unable to deliver the vehicle before expiration of the agreement, RRC shall be notified in advance.
If customer returns the vehicle before the expiration of the agreed rental period, customer shall nonetheless pay the charge for the full rental period.If customer, without notifying RRC, does not return the vehicle upon expiration of agreement, RRC may deem this as an unlawful act and take appropriate legal measures, including reporting the non return as a theft to the legal Suriname authorities.
Location
Vehicles can be made available at RRC base or can be delivered upon request at any location in Suriname against an extra service charge. Vehicle must be returned at RRC base or any location as agreed upon specified on rental Agreement. Not returning the vehicle to agreed location may cause loss to RRC. Customer shall compensate RRC for all such losses.
